Russell Family Medical Center Receives Outstanding Business of the Year Award
CFMC, Inc. is pleased to announce Russell Family Medical Center received the Outstanding Business of the Year award at the Russell County Chamber of Commerce 2016 Annual Banquet held on Thursday, April 21.
Dr. Holly Von Gruenigen, Pediatrician, gladly displays the award on behalf of all Russell Family Medical Center providers and staff.
The new Russell Family Medical Center facilities were formally dedicated on August 5, 2015, with a presentation to U.S. Congressman Ed Whitfield who was on hand to welcome the opening of the new site. Congressman Whitfield has been instrumental in supporting Cumberland Family Medical Center, Inc. (CFMC) since its inception in 2007.
Dr. John Kilgallin and Nurse Practitioner Sharon Benson, both long-time health care providers in Russell County, continue to provide full primary care services to their patients in this new location. Their operational hours remain the same and both welcome established and new patients by appointment or on a walk-in basis.
In addition to the outstanding primary care to which patients are accustomed, the new Russell Family Medical Center facility is also home to Russell County’s first pediatric practice. Dr. Holly Von Gruenigen, a Russell County native and graduate of Russell County High and Pikeville College of Osteopathic Medicine, is excited to return home where she welcomes both established and new patients to her new offices. Joining Dr. Von Gruenigen is Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Shannon Young. In addition to acute care visits, our youngest patients may also receive all well-child examinations and immunizations at this location. Both Dr. Von Gruenigen and NP Shannon Young are accepting new patients by appointment and on a walk-in basis.
Cumberland Family Medical Center, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with 48 clinic locations across an 18 county service area.
