Helping You Take Charge of Your Health
You may have heard that you need to “know your numbers,” which refers to key markers of heart health like blood pressure, blood cholesterol, blood sugar, and body mass index (BMI). It’s important that you know your numbers and understand what they mean. By keeping these numbers within a healthy range, you can greatly improve your heart health and reduce your risk for heart disease.
The Kentucky Heart Disease & Stroke Prevention Program partnered with the Northern Kentucky CARE (Cardiovascular Assessment, Risk Reduction and Education) Collaborative program, an outreach effort designed to provide blood pressure awareness education encounters within the community.
