Healthy Kids Clinic Partners with Clinton County Schools for National Health Education Week
CFMC joined forces with schools in Clinton County to help encourage students to play a part in health education. Albany Elementary School and the Early Childhood Center participated in a drawing contest. Students sketched pictures of themselves making a healthy choice. The ideas were limitless and included anything from cooking something healthy with their families to playing tag with their friends on the school playground.
“It was a great experience for our students and raised awareness to health education in Clinton County Schools,” said FRYSC Coordinator, Sandra Pharis.
Each winner was awarded a certificate and featured on the local radio station. The drawings will be showcased in the lobby of Clinton Family Medical Center in Albany.
Many students spent time devoted to National Health Education Week projects. CFMC appreciates each and every one of them and encourages students to continue healthy lifestyles. Thank you for educating our community on the importance of healthy living.
